Avery made this video

A thousand mission statements can't show you what two minutes here can.

So instead of describing Brewability, this puts the real thing on screen: the crew, the kitchen, the taps and the dance floor, as they actually are.

[Music. Pizza dough spins into the air in the kitchen.] “Ready, set, go!” “Oh, I am not ready for this.”

“Brewability is a place where people who feel unaccepted and rejected in everyday society can unite, be themselves, have fun, and experience an overwhelming, joyous sensation of welcomeness, understanding, and love as soon as they step foot in the door.”

“Are we getting the order by color?” “It's by color.”

[On screen: Accommodation isn't special treatment. It's simply access to contribution.]

“All right, two hands. Very sturdy.” [Indistinct]

“Well, you made the experience, that's for sure.”

“You know, before I started working here, I was unable to get a job anywhere else because I'm in the hospital and sick too often.”

[On screen: “Come behind the counter. Let's see if you can pour a beer.” Tiffany, the day I asked her for a job. Pizzability, 2018.]

“Honestly, I didn't know that I could pour beers and interact with people.”

[On screen: That's me — Avery. Pizzability, 2019.]

“Like I had no value or skill sets or really anything positive to contribute to this world. But through Brewability, I discovered I do, and I'm not defined by my disabilities. Brewability is not just a job. It's my second family and my purpose. Thank you.”

[On screen: Rachel, Server & bartender.] “I like cooking.”

[On screen: Nick, Dish crew.] “I do a lot of dishes, and I do that, and I just always, funny thoughts don't go through my head.”

“It's gonna be fun.” “Teamwork on three!” “Teamwork!”

“And so when they see a woman who's in a wheelchair up dancing, well, then before long the dance floor is full.”

[Indistinct] “Our waiting list is exceeding 700.”

“A brewery with a purpose, a concept on a mission, inclusivity in action.”

[On screen: Brewability doesn't give people their abilities. It gives them the opportunity to show the world what was already there. 3445 S Broadway, Englewood, CO. brewability.net]
